Literally "fall-to-stars-fear" or "Fear of falling into the stars". Makes it sound beautiful. I can attest that it is NOT beautiful to start tearing up dirt like an insane person to get any sort of handhold, simply because you want to look at stars or clouds or meteors, but I appreciate it nonetheless

2022年8月25日 · There's no way to tell someone that you're afraid of falling into the sky without sounding unhinged, so I tell as few people about this as possible. I wish there was more research done on this. I know of people who share this phobia but I've never personally spoken to anyone else. I have no idea what the first step to treating this would be.

When i started to remove those things, evaluate them, meditate and try and understand my stress, the feeling of falling slowly disappeared. I still get scared to look up at the sky, but now only because im scared im going to feel that falling feeling.

I, along with what I assume many others, believed that dwarves were literally afraid of falling into the sky, which is why they live underground and avoid the surface world. Here's a list of them (trigger warning): A gigantic asteroid crashing into Earth. A massive earthquake destroying the entirety of Earth. A gamma ray burst from outer space wiping out the Earths atmosphere
Do you equally get weirded/freaked out staring into the night sky?
Casadastraphobia, or fear of falling into the sky. When I was kid, I would experience this rather heavily. I usually only experience this when I am under the influence and outside by a fire or something. Entertaining the idea of gravity disappearing is kind of fun now, but as a kid it was certainly not. It's much stronger at night too.
