The Carro Armato M13/40 was the Italian tank designed to replace the Fiat L3, the Fiat L6/40 and the Fiat M11/39 in the Italian Army at the start of World War II. The M13/40, weighing 13-14 tons, was fitted with a 47 mm gun, having armor-piercing capabilities, in the turret and a four-men crew.

In September 1943 Fiat and Ansaldo began development of a new design which could be comparable to the Panther, and the result was the P 43 bis, with heavily sloped armour, a 450 HP engine and a 90/42 gun. These designs never passed the wooden mock-up stage, but it is possible that a prototype was created in the first months of 1945. [13]

The P43 or P 30/43 was developed by FIAT and Ansaldo simultaneously with the P26/40, of which it was supposed to be a heavier version. The vehicle was planned to have weighed at least 30 tons and would have mounted an engine of 420 hp.

2019年7月1日 · Plug n pray LED headlight bulbs. Kick out about 6000lm, compared to 1200 ish for standard halogen. Will take some before and after amp measurements to see what the reduction in the draw is. They have a small adapter fitted to ensure they fit the P45 style socket on the headlight. And plug into existing wiring. No relay / transformer required.
