After reading through the thread about the Fiesta ST Doug reviewed it got me thinking, is the Focus ST officially the third best out of the three. It seems that the Fiesta ST and Focus RS get praised while the Focus ST is kinda in the shadow of those two. Hell, when talking about hot hatches or great driving cars it’s usually forgotten about.

2021年10月16日 · I had both a Fiesta ST and a Focus RS. I came back to the fiesta because the RS was really expensive for what it is. The RS is objectively a better car, but the Fiesta is so much fun in such a small package, and maintenance on the FiST is less of a headache than the RS (I had to wait 5 months for a “special” trunk popper.

2020年2月26日 · The RS is much more rally oriented Let's not play make-believe here, the Focus RS is as much a "rally car" as any other road car; that is to say, it's just fucking not a rally car at all. A rally car is a vehicle purpose-built for motorsports. The Focus RS is a passenger car for the street built with performance in mind.

2020年12月28日 · Focus RS has gearings in each rear wheel with clutch packs, so when you need oversteer, the clutch engages and makes the wheel spin faster. However, for wheels to travel at the same speed such as in a straight line acceleration, the clutches have to slip, which is why with hard driving the Focus RS shuts off the rear unit after it overheats.
