FTKIP is situated on both UTeM campuses—the main campus and industry campus. We currently run 20 labs, with 10 at the manufacturing engineering department building on the main campus. The lab is equipped with state-of-the-art manufacturing machines and tools relevant to teaching and learning as well as research purposes.

The Academic Handbook 2020/2021 provides information for students and staff of the Faculty of Manufacturing Engineering (FKP) at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM). The handbook outlines the academic programs, courses, policies, staff directory, and facilities of FKP.

The taught course programme is developed to provides a fundamental understanding of advanced materials properties, their processing, the techniques used for their characterization and computer-based design procedures, which are essential for product commercialization from the concept phase.

The IDP Exhibition and Competition have been successfully conducted on the 8th June 2022 at the Auditorium of Faculty of Manufacturing Engineering, Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM). A total of 46 projects comprises of 216 students showcased and demonstrated their product during this event.

The Integrated Design Project (IDP) is an innovation competition involving all the 3rd year students of Fakulti Kejuruteraan Pembuatan, Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka. It has been a significant platform in training the students to be a creative, innovative and excellent individual through collaborative project.

Master of Mechatronics Engineering (Taught Course) is developed to instil a strong engineering foundation, to produce graduates that are proficient in solving mechatronic engineering problems. The programme covers courses such as industrial robotics, Internet of Things-related controllers, mechatronics and control systems.
