Does this count? I'd like to call this one a hybrid with knobby tires. Or a mountain bike with a rigid fork. This bike to me is the ultimate all rounder. I can commute with it. I toured with it. I've been sitting on a majority of these parts, since converting my Surly Cross-Check to a flat bar gravel/dadbike, and was only really missing handlebars and a stem. Wanting to try out the Velo Orange Nouveau Randonneur Handlebar for awhile now and figured their Quill Stem with Removable Faceplate would be the perfect match.

Over in the C & V, the fellows periodically run a $100 challenge, where each contestant must locate and repair a bike for $100 all in, including the fair cost of parts bin parts, etc. Then each contestant must ride the candidate bike for 100 km for it to be considered for judging in the challenge. 2018年3月14日 · I have a gravel bike that I use for touring. It is a Malvern Star Oppy S1 and I made adjustments to it to make it suitable for touring. It's promo read : Adventure touring I also an option for this Gravel Bike. So if you can turn a gravel bike into a dedicated tourer, I suppose you could do the reverse with your bike.

2018年3月25日 · The bar ends cost too much in my opinion for doing the same job. I wonder why Purecycles 22.2mm grip area diameter drop bar is the only model to fit mtb shifters , all other drop bars are 23.8mm and will fit only the more expensive bar ends or dual control STI road shifters and sometimes I may not need/want them.
