Some dogs are actually allergic to fleas (their saliva, I believe) so maybe it could even be something like that. Allergies can suddenly develop at any age, just like in humans.

2016年6月23日 · No scratching or fleas. Plus I keep the house vacuumed and clean often and have treated the house with flea killing spray. I’ve checked his fur and skin all over and can’t find any flea dirt, fleas, redness, scaling, swelling, bumps, scabs, NOTHING! His skin/fur seems fine! So why could he be scratching so much? 2015年10月10日 · I bought De Flea Pet Shampoo which is Dioctyl Sodium, Sulfosuccinate, and Underclynec Acid and she's gotten a few flea baths since getting her. Lastly, she's also on K9 Advantix. None of these things seem to be working long term because I keep finding fleas and flea dirt on her, no matter what I do.

2021年9月13日 · What is flea dirt? They eat Purina and pedigree puppy food. I also feed them fruits and things like that for extra nutrition they don't get from the cheap food.
