2007年6月7日 · Hi, my Jazz is also 13 years old and has been on Flovent for about 2 months (give or take). When she was first diagnosed the dr. gave her clavamox for 3 weeks, then came the flovent 2 times a day for about 3 to 4 weeks, then in for another xray.

2018年2月3日 · My kitty has been recently diagnosed with asthma, and we were recently prescribed Flovent with the Aerokat attachment. I understand how to use the Aerokat. The Flovent inhaler has directions with it, but are meant for a human. For example, it says to rinse your mouth with water and spit it out after using the inhaler. How do you do this with a cat?

2017年11月12日 · You can make a positive experience of it. My cat loves the time(s) each day I give her the Flovent/Areokat. It is actually a ritual time of purring, cuddles, and her scritching her chin along the inhaler before I insert it into the Aerokat, a time when I can run my hands over her body each day to make sure everything is healthy with her.

2010年4月30日 · Flovent is the most common inhaled medicine to use daily. I'm pretty sure albuterol is more of a emergency use only type inhaler for cats because it works very quickly. 2012年8月3日 · They suggested upping the Flovent to 2 puffs 3 times a day and adding in Albuterol 3 times a day. Because I think his breathing is getting even worse, I looked up other treatments online and found a site that said using a bronchodilator (such as Albuterol) on a daily basis can actually be damaging to the lungs.

2010年10月25日 · The cheapest I'd found, by far, is a generic of Flovent, called Flohale (by Cipla, out of India). However, Flohale has been discontinued. I used it for three years, and am really upset that I'm now going to have to pay a lot more for Flixotide (same as Flovent).
