2012年7月19日 · Since I knew that my xinitrc.fluxbox file worked as I wanted to, I just created a link to it called /etc/X11/xinit/Xclients and then from the chooser I can just choose "run Xclients script" instead of fluxbox to start fluxbox with options. For some reason GDM doesn't seem to read the .fluxbox/startup script OR xinitrc.fluxbox script.

2003年11月4日 · ok, here is a stupid question: how do i open a terminal in fluxbox? i am fairly new to Linux and can't find one anywhere. I am running Mandrake 9.2. I installed fluxbox today and so far really like the so-called minimalist look. anyway, i hope my question isn't too redundant (i looked everywhere to no avail). thanks in advance. ds

2016年5月11日 · I also set my wallpaper from the ~/.fluxbox/startup file. (I call a script that I found on the FVWM site that changes the wallpaper every so many minutes, but it's been so long since I set it up that I can't remember exactly how I made it work, and I think the podcast that taught me how to do so is no longer on line.

2004年12月1日 · i believe fluxbox is the most popular. i've tried blackbox but found it didn't have the keyboard commands i like and bgset didn't work with my LFS distro. so went with windowmaker. just installed fluxbox but just haven't had time to set it up yet now openbox have to check it out. got a link

2016年3月31日 · In fact, when this document was written, I also copied it to the top of the FAQ to point to this section in order to stop it from being asked in #fluxbox ten times a day, and to end the myth that the Slit is another name for the Toolbar. The slit is one of the many parts of Fluxbox that has been inherited from Blackbox.

Then I ran xwmconfig within konsole and set the window manager to fluxbox, then logged out and selected 'xsession default' from the list of options. I got fluxbox, and I could suspend using loginctl suspend from an xterm window. Finally, I exited from fluxbox, and set the session back to plasma X11 without changing xwmconfig.

So far, I love fluxbox, but since I need to type in two languages, it's not incredibly useful yet. There's nothing I can find about this in either the faq or other ...

2007年1月29日 · Now i use xrandr to set 800x600 and looks good, yes i can add "xranrd -s 3" in the fluxbox init, but is not a good practice i wanna know: why if i set "800x600" as first end default option in xorg.conf i dont get a 800x600 that can fit in my physical screen. here goes my xorg.conf: Section "ServerLayout" Identifier "X.org Configured"
