Help me win my company's food drive -- what non-perishable
2010年11月2日 · The company I work at recently had a similar type food drive as one stage of a month long food drive for our local food bank. Rice and beans will probably be more welcome by your food bank so I would recommend them. However, a couple numskulls on my team figured that cases of water were more cost effective for price per ounce.
I'd kill just to have ONE drive through with healthy meals.
2024年1月28日 · Drive through any city in the Midwest and you will find 15+ different fast food chains to choose from in a 5 mile radius. 5 different ones for burgers and fries, 3 for pizza, 3 for fried chicken. I wish there was just ONE commonplace drive through that provided healthful foods with no hidden ingredients.
Food drives/drives in general for Eagle Projects. : r/BSA - Reddit
2023年3月5日 · This. My Eagle Project was a blood drive. I put a lot of marketing legwork into it to make sure it was more than “Blood Bank does all the work,” securing non-blood donations (food, facility, etc.), donations of t-shirts for first time donors, and other incentives, to say nothing of marketing for blood donor recruitment.
Best foods to bring to a food pantry? : r/EatCheapAndHealthy
Depends on your area, tbh. The Food Bank where I work did 5 million pounds of food last year and we never had a shortage of "treats" like junk food--especially bakery treats like cookies, donuts, etc since they're made daily. What we did have shortages of was staples like rice/pasta (pasta is a bit of a supply chain issue, atm).

2014年7月23日 · Give it directly to the food shelf. They need cash to keep the lights on, gas in the trucks, boxes/bags and all sorts of other overhead costs. If they really do need more food often they get the best deals buying in bulk because they can negotiate as a food shelf. Food drives are great if people have food at home that would otherwise be wasted.

Anybody try listening to fast food drive thrus? : r/RTLSDR - Reddit
While this is the right idea, in reality, no one's going to bust you for fucking with drive thru ordering systems. Speaking from experience, most times they'll just change the frequency. Get your downvote ready: 20 some odd years ago I crossband repeated two drive thrus together since one was on UHF and one was on VHF.
Best Food for Drive-In Theatre : r/doughboys - Reddit
2022年7月7日 · Maaaan we would go CRAZY at the drive-in. It was right by our house so food would stay warm. We’d bring stuff for like a taco bar (tortillas, different meats in containers, onions, cilantro, limes, salsa), hot dogs, bring a whole pizza.
Why do fast food drive-thru employees sometimes ask drivers to …
2021年3月5日 · Drive thrus are timed, from the moment you pull up to order until you leave the last window, sensors track how long it takes you. At the end of the day the times are averaged out and the store gets a "time" for the day. District managers are brutal on store managers to …
I want to host a food drive for the food insecure : r/Cooking - Reddit
2022年9月18日 · Pet food as mentioned earlier. But perhaps the best thing you can do is raise money instead of collecting food. Your food bank has connections with food wholesalers and usually can take $10 in donated money and purchase $40 retail value. I serve on the board of directors at my community's food bank. Thank you for wanting to help your neighbours.
