2008年8月13日 · Anyone have any experience with the Forax GP40 Forestry Mulcher? It is a flail type mower/mulcher that runs off of it's own gas powered 40hp motor. It mounts to the front loader with options for quick attach, front loader bucket clamps, and some other specific mounts.

2011年4月19日 · Update . . . just got off the phone with a Rep from FORAX. Looking at the FORAX GP40, HP40 and HD72. Leaning towards the HP40 at this time as it seems to be at a price point that is affordable for the performance I expect to be adequate for my situation. Certainly not at the same level as a skid steer but still good.

2020年4月16日 · Honestly the Forax GP40 might be the way to go, I have 45acres that need a lot of help. Most is too much for a brush hog and all hill sides, what i need to do would take months to clean up i can only really work it on the weekends. i will be looking into that Forax GP40 a little more. thanks again but keep em coming

2011年4月19日 · beenthere . . . I'm still hesitant. I have ruled out the GP40 and favor the HP72 but due to cost I must favor the HP40 instead LOL. The cost difference between the 40 and 72 is around $10k. I certainly understand the 72 would eat more in one swipe but $10k is steep (according to my wife).

2022年2月22日 · Forax; Loftness; Promac; Herder; Brown forestry; Ferntree (OSMA, SIMATECH) They are pretty much all in the same price range, 25k CAD including mounting brackets but excluding transport. Only the Cimaf is available for rental for me to try but it seems to be the larger of the bunch. Any feedback would be appreciated.
