2018年5月24日 · Looking for help to diagnose an issue. If I turn the rear air to the "on" position, I can hear the fan kick in and it will blow air from the rear right side panel. Any ideas on what to look for? The rear heat has two damper actuator motors. One adjusts the plenum door for hot/cold. The other adjusts a door for upper outlets/floor outlets.

Since then, I have tried the heater and now the air flow only comes through the dash vents and the deforest vents. (no floor heat) Could this be a blend door? an actuator? or a vacuum problem?

2013年10月13日 · What I found was that the problem is caused by a lack of vacuum. The way the controls are designed is to be operated by engine vacuum. When you lose that vacuum, the switching reverts to the setting that doesn't need any vacuum: the defrost setting.
