2015年8月27日 · My '47 Champion has a Fram F3-P2 "Oil Filter with mounting strap" installed. It's also shown in my 1947-1950 Chassis Parts manual (on page 28) as Illustration #0118-1A and Part #519836. I've attached a pic of the page showing that page and the different Oil Filters, and cartridges, in use. Here's where I have likely caused confusion.

2019年6月17日 · The Later Fram F3 and F4 Filter Units have an extra "Plug" on the bottom, it is the Canister Oil Drain. Some of those Type also have a large spinner wingnut to hold the Lid instead of the bolt.

This is a Flat-4 reproduction of the 50's & 60's Fram fan shroud mounted oil filtering system. These were commonly used on Hi Performance VW and Porsche 356 engines in the day. This kit includes German made Stainless Steel braided oil lines, fitting, filter and bracket. Can be used on any 25HP, 36HP, 40HP and 13-1600cc Beetle style engines.
