2011年1月26日 · The PRR GP7's were essentially "plain vanilla" just like the Frisco's. PRR didn't have many GP7's - 65 or so as I recall, far fewer than the Frisco, but bought a ton of GP9's. This represents a rare GP7 for the PRR, many of theirs were fitted with d/b or with topside air tanks.

The GP9 was available with all of the fuel tank, steam generator, and dynamic brake options as the GP7, including “torpedo tube” air tanks mounted on the roof.

2010年8月20日 · With all time I have had in bed have almost memorized this beautiful website and other places it leads to. I figured even if I did't think the Frisco ever had GP-9s would be simple enough to backdate to a GP-7.

2013年12月12日 · I have a decent start: I bought a gp9 ex-B&O 6412 custom decaled for Frisco 627 for $30 at a train show. Runs great, but needs some lubrication because it makes these wierd squeaking noises when it tries to accelerate. Not sure what company made it, but the trucks say TAPP and that's about all I know about it.
