g-man is a 4th-dimensional being. he can walk from one point in time to another as easily as we walk from one end of a room to another. but since we're 3rd-dimensional and cannot percieve the 4th dimension, when he does this, we just see him vanish

2010年8月24日 · I've noticed the G-Man walking around in various areas in HL2 and the episodes...always just outside of the normal camera range unless if you really look at him. I realize that this is just a bit of cinematic flair and Valve is playing around here a bit, but I'm curious...is there any way to interact with him?

The G-Man was seen walking back into the black void that he left Gordon in and opens his mouth to say something but then notices a purple glowing Vortigaunt to his left. He appears to be slightly amused at the sight, but then notices another on his right, and the smile drops from his face.
