2017年8月27日 · I had issues making weight with the G10 grips on my 1911's. I took them off and hollowed out the inside of the grip panel. I was able to make weight that way. Just be careful and don't cut to deep, stay away from the edges, the G10 panels are very strong. Jim

2022年11月21日 · My experience is the brass grips are less aggressive than a fresh set of bogies, but the G10 grips start to round off fairly quickly and end up around the same aggressiveness as the brass grips. It's a different feel though because the brass grips have a much finer checker/point pattern.

2016年5月22日 · I've gone through this exercise myself, trying to find the most aggressive grips for my 1911. I finally settled on the LOK Grips Roughnecks or the VZ Diamondback. They are the same thing. But definitely the most aggressive grips I've found. And I tried a lot. These are the LOK Grips Roughnecks on my Ford 1911 .40. Very aggressive.

2022年7月27日 · I found that I kind of liked the Langdon G10 grips which are real thin. I also liked the stock X Def plain panels which are pretty thin. So, like robertg, I ordered the round/thin grips from LOK. Wish they had traditional/thin but I found on the wraparound grips that came w/ the gun I could mod the golf ball shape a little to be more traditional.

2011年3月19日 · These are custom ordered "Shredders" precision cut to work with the Techwell system per my request and also with lightening cuts on the back to save a little more weight. He delivered these in 10 days and they only cost $5 more (and in some cases a lot less) than off the shelf G10 grips and they're exactly what I wanted.

2022年11月21日 · The sharpest edges on the G10 definitely wear down but the grips remain pretty aggressive even with a lot of use. If you shoot and dryfire a lot you'll probably want to replace them at some point but even if you replace them every year (probably overkill for most people) they end up being a pretty tiny expense in the grand scheme of the sport.
