2018年3月13日 · As I started to examine to engine I noticed two things; the ISC was unplugged and the TPS was twisted clockwise as far as it would go. I used the FSM instructions to properly check out and adjust the TPS and the "miss problem" went away. When I plugged in the ISC the engine would idle below 1500 rpm and that is still the problem.

2017年3月13日 · My workmate has recently bought a Vitara/Escudo with the 1993 G16a 16v in it, the same motor as what I have put into my SJ413. I've noticed that his has a number of sensors and idle control bits deleted. From what I can see the IAC, EGR, charcoal canister and the associated solenoid (?), ISC and a few other misc things are all gone.

The ISC, idle speed controller (has 2 wire connector) opens to increase air supply RPM and closes to reduce air supply and RPM , the ECU does this, the ISC is just and electric SLAVE AIR VALVE. The ECU is hard coded for 800 HOT RPM and 1000 in ECU fast IDLE mode .

2016年6月7日 · I'm thinking about cleaning the isc and am wondering if anyone has some tips. I read here that you can't unplug the isc until after five seconds or so of shutting off to allow the ecu to write the learned values.

2013年4月22日 · this ISC cleans just like the EGR that leaks. egr leaking cause, low RPm and it too, can make the ISC go nuts. so, but no RPM stated. so..... eg: hunting from 1000 to 1500RPM or hunting from 500 to 700 rpm? i pinch all hoses first. if RPM drops the hose is cracked or the other end is leaking air. every 50k miles?
