2018年1月10日 · Longer barrel gives more velocity regardless of what ammo you’re running. And, switching ammo means running a bunch through the gun to proof it. Most defensive ammo is designed around 4” barrels. Hence my thinking to use the G19 barrel in the G26.

2018年2月10日 · Personally, the way I practice and train, I'm not overly concerned about getting a barrel that might take a half inch out of a braced 25 yard group. The stock barrel is accurate enough that I can make head shots at 25 yards if I'm doing everything I'm supposed to and that's accurate enough for a fighting pistol IMO.

2015年1月22日 · The only actual Glock OEM barrel swap you can do to a G27 is getting a 357SIG barrel. The OD is the same. Even with an aftermarket "conversion barrel", the Glock ejectors have a different angle for 9mm/40S&W, so the stock ejector for the G27 will be hitting the 9mm case rim closer to the edge and deflection might be different.

2009年9月5日 · So putting the G19 barrel in it gives the best of both worlds. Oh, and chopping down a G19 grip to me really seems like a waste. The only advantage it would give you over the G26 with G19 barrel is a slightly longer sight radius, which isn't very significant ( many people report they shoot the G26 more accurately than the G19).

2018年2月15日 · The differences in it and the gen 5 g19 is the mag well is not flared, and the little cutaway at the bottom to facilitate ripping the mag out on the g19 are not present on the g26.....everything else; texture, smooth trigger face, and ambi slide stop/release levers is the same. The barrel design is also the same as the new G19.

2009年7月7日 · I carry Speer 9mm 124gr+P Gold Dot in my G26. I fired a couple hundred rounds of it when I first got it and had no problems. What I really wonder about is the difference between the 'short barrel' and the normal stuff. They look identical, there is supposedly some difference in the powder but I can't tell by firing.

Sell the 26, buy the 27, get a 9mm conv. barrel ($99+)and a couple of 26 mags ($25+). Now you have both. The ejector for .40 to 9mm may not be necessary. Most 27s work fine with 9mm barrel and mags installed.. With the 27 you can also get a .357 Sig conv. barrel ($99+) and it will still use the .40 mags--now you have a third option!
