2021年2月22日 · -The G29 clutch honked like a goose, so I needed to lube up the spring with white lithium grease. -The brake pedal bolt was sticking to the plastic that went around it, making a clicking sound, so I had to grease that up too to solve that. -Overall, I'm very happy I went with the G29, but without being willing to open up the pedals, avoid it.

2020年6月26日 · Ok guys! I'm done messing with my G27 but these mods work for G29/G920s as they use the same motors. I'll do my best to break this down so it's easy to digest. I focused on "easy" upgrades to the unit. So something like converting to belt drive was out.

2017年6月20日 · Hey all, so I recently purchased a Logitech G29 with a Playseat Challenge and am LOVING it. This setup is a huge improvement over my old DFGT with Wheelstand Pro. One thing that I was not super happy with though is the G29 shifter - although it makes gameplay much more fun over the paddle shifters, it just looks and feels kinda cheap.

2023年11月21日 · I have a Logitech g29 steering wheel and I want a shifter for better immersion, but the shifter Logitech sells is cheap and toy like. I can't use any other brand of shifter because I'm on a console, and I'd like to see if I can find a good shifter mod for one before I try and save up for something else. Thank you! Ava 🌺

2020年12月21日 · The biggest "upgrade" you can make on your G29/G920/G923 after adding the shifter, is modding the pedals. There are tons of options out there, from simple springs replacements to an actual load cell style brake mod.

2020年1月21日 · I made couple of diy mods, did the "quiet pedal mod" by amstudio and added a couple of rubber o-rings to the pedals just below the springs to add a pre-load and make them stiffer and reduce the travel, I also drilled the gum thingy on the brake to make it more squishy and have more progressive and linear braking feel.

2023年12月5日 · I spent the last week collating what I think is the ideal set of mods (for H-pattern use), and I have taken it one step further by really fine tuning the mods to my liking. It started with a shifter knob, and the one I picked happened to also fit 8x 8mm Steal Ball bearings inside its shaft rather snuggley once the top cap was screwed on.
