Springfield's G3: the SAR3 and SAR8
Dec 12, 2013 · This gun was copied directly from HK's Model 91 Sporter. This gun, officially chambered in civilian .308 Winchester (which is 99.99% the same round as the 7.62x51mm NATO and will feed the military round), was a 1:1 clone of the G3, just in semi-auto only. Imported into the US between 1985-1989, it was a beautiful gun. Today these run $900 or more.
CMMG G3 AR10 lowers - m4carbine.net
Nov 26, 2009 · Saw CMMG is making AR10 lowers that will accept G3 mags. I used to have a HK91 about 3 years ago, and sold it as it just wasnt to my liking (Im more comfortable with the AR platform) and I still have a bunch of G3 mags left, some still in teh plastic wrapping. Just wondering if anyone has used the CMMG G3 AR10 lowers and what they thought of them.

Aug 27, 2014 · In 1993 I was talking with a dealer at a gun show and they mentioned that they had a new-in-box IMI Galil. Being new to firearms and not knowing too much about bans or assault rifle values I thought the $1,200 price tag was for a pre-ban model. It turned out to be a post-ban thumbhole-stocked abortion. I bought it anyway.
Bruises on a frame | Springfield Armory Forums
Feb 8, 2025 · 2. make some good smoke (visit shooting range and deliver some big groups) while gun is under warranty; 3. clean and lube properly after use. 4. then either trigger warranty to fix it if bruises and damage grow; else - enjoy the firearm. Big big thanks for all your answers. It's time to "empty some mags" in a range.
Winchester M14 - m4carbine.net
Sep 6, 2022 · Two months ago I saw this Winchester M14 rifle with synthetic stock at my favourite LGS. He said it was under consignment from an older gun collector. I tried to haggle the price a little to no avail (“it’s under consignment and the owner won’t accept a $ less”). $ 3000 it is then.

Jan 22, 2025 · A new gun needs to be taken apart, cleaned well, lubed good, then taken to the range for 500 to 600 rounds run through it. Clean it after every range session the first time or two to get the kinks out of it. The magazines will loosen up the more they are used also.

Dec 6, 2024 · Purchased a 4.0C yesterday. Shoots great, it’s dead nuts so I didn’t have to mess with the sights. Slight problem though. I also have a full size echelon and I have found out that the full size magazines used in the compact can be over inserted when reloading from slide lock like …

Nov 29, 2024 · Get the PRP trigger. It is eye opening. Everybody who tries my gun can't believe how good it is. Minimal pre-travel, a sub 4# clean break and minimal post-travel. And a quick reset. I understand a sub 4# trigger isn't for everybody, but by not replacing all the springs, you can get a higher break, but still get the same trigger movement.
