2019年10月20日 · I have a G40 and put a 7" KKM barrel on it for Woods Defense (Black Bear, Lion, etc.) while bowhunting and flyfishing. Accuracy at 50yds and beyond won't be that much better, little or none over the OEM barrel.

2020年8月22日 · KKM makes consistently better barrels and has better customer service than Lone Wolf. I'd go with a 6.6 rather than a 7 inch barrel. the G40 already seems like a crew-served weapon to me, and I wouldn't want it to be much longer.

2017年10月29日 · I recently put a 7" KKM barrel on the G40. The extra inch of barrel will give about 45fps over the stock Glock 6" barrel. Any velocity increase over that is a result of better case support and tighter chamber allowing for increased powder charge.

2017年4月28日 · KKM will make a barrel to any length you want (no extra charge), I considered 7.5" because that is a popular length for revolvers but I think the 1" extension is enough without protruding too far out of the holster.

2023年12月1日 · I've got the KKM 6.5" in my 40. Functions flawlessly and is shockingly accurate. I bought it to have full chamber support for Underwood hard cast loads and for a mild velocity gain.
