The G428 is weapon featured in Battlefield 2042, introduced in Dark Creations season. It is unlocked by reaching tier 46 in the Battle Pass. Afterwards, it is unlocked through assignments. The weapon has low recoil from the start and a quick reload for both partial and empty.

Based on firepower and range, it seems like the G428 should have higher hit damage at longer ranges. But with standard issue ammo hit damage is only 35 after around 65 yards, compared to the SVK which is 60 hit damage up to 100 yards.
