2022年8月21日 · I run a G43 upper (slide, barrel, and recoil spring assembly) on a G43X MOS frame for the exact same reasons. I wanted an accessory rail and no front serrations. And I wanted to mill the slide to directly accept a Trijicon RMRcc rear iron sight forward, rather than having to run an adapter plate or mill the G43X MOS slide.

2020年9月25日 · I've seen posts where people claim to put a G43 slide on a G43x/G48 lower and that working well, but is the same also possible in reverse? Let's say I essentially want my G43x to be essentially be a G43 at times (for the heck of it and maybe ease of concealment in warmer weather) without having to spend a few more hundred bucks for a whole new gun.

2021年4月2日 · Also, don't tell me to use search because I assure you I have read every thread on here regarding slide wobble which are typically referring to gen 3 and 4. So my 19 is as tight as tight can be no wobble loaded or unloaded. My new 43x has a bit of wobble. With a loaded mag pushing against it, it isn't as bad but it's still there.

2020年6月19日 · If the subject gun is a G43X, then also re-confirm the trigger bar's "cruciform" is tucked into the trigger spring "hook", located in the trigger mechanism housing. When the trigger bar is not reassembled within that trigger spring "hook", the trigger bar can become "cockeyed" and cause binding of the slide-stop.

2020年6月4日 · My wife has a G43 and I bought myself a G48. Ended up swapping the slides so she now carries a "G43L" and I carry a G43X. They both shoot much better than a regular G43. I run Shield Arms mags in my 43X (and previously in the G48). So yes, I would personally say buying a cheap 43X frame for your 43 slide would be a worthwhile investment.

Have switched slides and frames around just to test. 43 slide on 48 frame gives you a 43X without forward slide serrations. 48 slide on 43 frame gives you a really odd looking gun, but both configurations functioned flawlessly. Except for testing, don't think I will repeat 48 slide on 43 ...

2021年11月14日 · Since the slide is milled, and the weight will be lessened, would it be advised to use a rod with a 15lb. spring, especially since the porting will slightly lessen the gas pressure during recoil? A little weight will be added with a red dot (probably the RMSc). Probably a silly question, and maybe I'm overthinking it.
