Even though they were "entry level" offerings in the HSV range, they still boast some cool specs and features, I personally didn't know the G8 and commodore cousins were named the same ...

A 2009 Pontiac G8 GT. The 2009 model year adds the GXP version powered by a 415 hp (309 kW) 6.2-liter V8 engine with a standard 6-speed automatic transmission or optional six-speed manual transmission (see above). The GXP is available in all standard G8 colors.

However, this was only the auto-show version. The production GXP was ultimately more powerful with an LS3 V8 that made 415 horsepower.

2023年1月27日 · There are three variants of the 6060 that can be used, all from a fifth gen Camaro SS / ZL1. The first gear ratios are as follows: This trans is approximately 1-1/2" longer than the extinct GXP 6060, so be prepared to: 1) Shorten your existing driveshaft, 2) Modify the shifter, and 3) Come up with a trans crossmember that works.
