2005年6月22日 · Someone is confusing the cat temperature sensors (the two you spoke of which go into the catalytic convertor) with the fuel temperature sensor. When the cat sensor fails, you get a code around 00310 or so. If you have a vag-com, you could determine the value the g81 is registering and tell us that.

2004年4月7日 · I just got a CEL last night and it reads 16567 - Fuel Temp. Sensor A (G81): Open or Short to Plus. Any idea on what that means. I did several searches without much luck. I think the sensor may need to be replaced but how could this happen?

Stopped having a hesitation at idle and a surge while crusing. This temp sensor is in the fuel system of PD engined A4 and A5 TDIs.

Où se trouve cette sonde sur mon TDI (AFN)? Il me semble qu'elle se trouve dans l'actuateur de pompe mais j'aimerais bien que ce soit pas ça parce que j'ai pas envie de changer l'actuateur :x

2007年7月12日 · Yes, the Fuel Temperature Sensor (G81) and all four Glow Plug Circuit Faults had the same cause - G81 wires near the sensor. After removing G81 from the car and measuring it with ohmmeter I deduced it was OK (resistance was smoothly changing up/down when putting the sensor at the cold/warm place).

The car is a VW Golf 2011 2.0tdi5K1 37X, engine code CFFB. The engine warning light startedcoming on and VCDS came up with fault code P0183 Open or shortto plus. VCDS fault data shows that the fuel temperature is -40C when the fault occurs but because its intermittent I cant replicate that temperature when looking at VCDS measured values.
