2012年7月1日 · IMHO the biggest difference in GCC specs comes when you are reselling the car. All car companies do hot and cold weather testing to ensure their cars work worldwide and I can't imagine any designer optimising their design then leaving space for a larger radiator.

2013年2月21日 · GCC cars do not exist btw - they are imports from other more developed markets than the USA. You think the GCC makes cars ? Every European car or Asian car you will find in the USA - whereas most US cars never make it out of the country. Yeah, the US only introduced such safety standards because they wanted to sell their cars overseas.

2013年5月3日 · Just a discussion point, I wonder if US car manufacturers have different specs for cars to be delivered for southern or northern US - like improved engine cooling (i.e. radiator size, oil cooler, etc) and AC systems as Summer temperature is quite different. If so, then "GCC-specs" US car could be the southern version.

2023年2月26日 · In Oman cars are inspected after 10 years but as our car is 10 years old this year (manufactured Jan 2012) we didn't need to have it inspected as it hasn't completed its 10th year yet. So I've been trying to find out this info across a number of sites without luck.

2015年4月29日 · On balance, I would try to get GCC spec but not because of any technical issues. US spec cars are generally a slightly higher specification than GCC spec cars, but the market hates them and that's a good enough reason to avoid them unless you have a good reason to want a US-spec car (e.g. rarity, or a desire to reimport it to the US).
