2010年10月5日 · Same diagnostics and you'll find it probably the same thing. Make sure to check CR1 on the fuse relay card...if it looks like a resistor instead of just a jumper, change the card before changing the steer amp as it's cheaper. Also, we've noticed if the operator touches the steer tiller during start up it'll pop these codes intermittently.

2011年10月19日 · Hi eveyone so I have a GD code on a reach truck model 740DR32TT, serial 740-08-FB-12476. I ran the encoder test and it looks good 0-255, I checked prox sensor and it turns on and off. The code comes up once or twice a day, I got on the truck and as I was driving straight, GD pop on the screen and it jerked my steering wheel to the left.

2017年6月1日 · I was getting a GD on a Raymond double reach 750 including G4 and 4B. I replaced steering wheel encoder and still problem continued. I finally replaced the steer amplifier and it worked. All codes cleared.

2017年2月14日 · Raymond reach truck model 740 code GD I am having a hard time with this code, I have tried looking at the wiring, adjusted the prox sensor ( it has a new one ), tried switching steer amp and steer motor. also have ran all the test in the book on. it probably does have an older software in it.

2014年4月20日 · THEN, you could lose steering, get GD codes, loose the steer motor due to side stress, and lose the steer amp from overcurrent while it's trying to turn a seized drive unit. 3000 hrs is as far as you get before needing radial rings....but greasing more frequently increases life.

2020年8月7日 · Code GD Had a unit with that code and the steer motor encoder bearing failed the test shown it was not counting. Eventually found out it was not the steer encoder bearing but the steer AMP was the issue.

2025年1月1日 · Battery unplugged, connect ohm meter between pin A and B, reading should be about 60 ohms. Could be as low as 45 ohms depending on the system. If you read 120 ohms, one termination resistor has failed. If all is good, suspect failed connection at the VSM. Look for failed or damaged harness, possible pins and sockets. The codes all list the VSM.

7400 Trouble codes If a 7000 series VM part number ends in /005 or lower it must have Flash ware VM Software version 5.6 or older. VMs ending in /006 may have any version but the latest available is recommended.
