There has yet to be a better made 6550 when ge came out with the upgraded bulletproof 6550a tube. These are General Electric labeled 6550A matched quad from tubedepot. I bought from my good friend who ran them in a marshall for one month before he had to sell it and I bought these for a project I never finished.
