My factory remote start quit working, any ideas?
2010年7月10日 · To test your remote start, put the key in the ignition and start the truck. Turn it off, get out of the truck and press your power lock switch on the remote. Press it again to sound the horn. Now press your remote start button on the remote. It should start. You may have to hold the remote start button for up to 5 seconds.

2021年2月24日 · Tip, as Greg suggested, give us the code(s) maybe we can solve it; cause if the light is on, the remote start won't work. The only work around that I know is to clear the codes the night before, then the truck will remote start in the morning. However, depending on the code, it may stop when the code gets triggered.

2021年1月8日 · My truck came with remote start option from the factory and was working perfectly fine before I swapped key fobs. My old key fob was an aftermarket viper key fob that came with the truck when I bought it, this ended up being destroyed so I bought two new replacements with remote start functionality.

2011年12月20日 · A couple of months ago I purchased a 2006 GMC SIERRA SLT CREW CAB 4X4 Z71 Package. The truck is fully loaded power everything, dvd and Bose sound, heated leather seats. My question is twice when I hit the unlock buttons on my standard key fob i.e. it only has lock, unlock, and panic the engine started like I had remote start.
