Jul 25, 2005 · I just recently caught my first pike (500 miles from home), and would love to be able to find some closer to home. Are they plentiful enough to actually target in the upper GMR, or is it just a matter of accidentally catching one while smallmouth fishing? If anyone has any pike holes I would LOVE to join you sometime on the river!

Mar 28, 2021 · I made a visit to one of my favorite rivers in Ohio the GMR. Unfortunately, the river was up pretty good and chocolate milk. So I decided to take to the creeks over the weekend with my hellgrammite in hand. It was a slow day but I managed some fish and caught my first smallmouth of the year! Most fish were sticking VERY TIGHT to cover.

Sep 28, 2010 · GMR: Rte 41 in troy, put in, take out at Tipp-Elizabeth Rd in Tipp City. There is a boat ramp in a park at takeout point. There is also a launch point a little bit up from Rte 41 at the golf course, u can get closer to water there. This should be a six hour trip, but with the water being low might take some work.

Aug 14, 2010 · from 2001-2006 i used that ramp which was accessible by a gravel road left open at Keowee st after some construction. i had a 14ft jon with a 10 horse motor i used there and later a 25hp 15ft boat. all that time i seen maybe 1 other boat than me launch there but the water at the ramp was always at least 4ft deep even during the very dry parts ...
