2010年9月29日 · The Electromotive Division GP15-1 is a 4 axle, 1,500 HP diesel-electric locomotive built by EMD from 1976 to 1982. It uses a 12 cylinder 645E prime mover rated at 1,500 HP. Offered as a light road or yard switcher, the GP15-1 was built from many components of older locomotives that railroads traded to EMD in exchange for new GP15-1's.

GMTX #499 is now classed as a GP15-2. It is a former GP15-1 that was rebuilt with a full DASH 2 electrical system and had dynamic brakes added by VMV in Paducah,KY.

2023年12月12日 · An EMD GP15T is a 4-axle diesel-electric locomotive built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division between October 1982 and April 1983. It was a very close cousin to the GP15-1, but used a turbocharger in order to generate more power from a smaller engine.

It became CSX 1514, Class GP15T, in 1987 and wrecked in 2019. 1515, Class GP15T, was built in November 1982, #817054-16, FN 817054-16, as C&O 1515, Class GP15T.
