Embedded applications come to mind as an obvious example. Next, even if we limit the GNU/Linux title to the GNU-based Linux distributions, we run into another obvious problem.

Dwarfs has a great compression and extraction rate and it's way better than 7 zip and can be played without extracting or installing. So you don't have to wait several hours to install a game, like fitgirl games.
