2025年2月4日 · Discussion related to New Jersey Transit rail and light rail operations. Since NJT retiring the GP40FH-2 what will happen to the GP40PH-2B, GP40PH-2A, and the GP40PH-2? I heard that they also will be retiring some of the GP40PH-2's. Is that true? If it is which ones? The CNJ units (GP40PH-2's) will probably stay around for a couple more years.

2009年11月4日 · The GP40-2W is a Canadian varient of the GP40-2 built by GMD in Ontario. 287 were built for CN and GO Transit, with most of CN's being GP40-2LW's with higher frames. CN has recently begun selling off many of their GP40-2LW's to shortline and regional railroads, while all of GO's have been sold off for some time.
