2023年4月28日 · The piping on the rear reservoir of the GP7 was an L shape on both sides, extending rearward then vertically behind the side skirt. On the GP9 this was changed to a horizontal pipe between the reservoirs on the left side, and a vertical pipe that went straight under the side skirt on the right side.

2024年6月18日 · An EMD GP9 is a four-axle road switcher diesel-electric locomotive built by General Motors' Electro-Motive Division produced between 1954 and 1959 and it is powered by a sixteen-cylinder engine which generated 1,750 horsepower. The GP9 succeeded the GP7. The lettering "GP" stands for "general purpose".
