Grand Rapids Community College is offering an exciting benefit for current students and employees: free access to The Rapid city bus service, including the Laker and Silver Lines, for the winter 2025 semester.

NEW Rapid bus partnership allows students and staff to ride the Rapid, including Silver and Laker Lines, for free beginning Aug. 26, or the first day students are taking classes. Using College Avenue Lot Parking could cost half of what you pay to park in a ramp all year.

2024年2月5日 · Students can ride the shuttle between the main downtown campus and DeVos campus. The shuttle busses will say "GRCC Sneden Shuttle" on the illuminated signs located on the front and back of each bus. They pick up and drop off at two locations, Sneden Hall at 415 East Fulton St. and on Fountain St. across from the Parking A Ramp.

The Rapid operates 23 fixed bus routes, and special services for Grand Valley State University, Grand Rapids Community College and Ferris State University (see below). Routes 1 through 15, along with the Silver Line BRT, begin at Rapid Central Station.

The one-time fee (fee covers fall and winter semester) is $180 if you sign up by August 16, otherwise the fee will be $200 if you sign up after the deadline.
