2022年8月29日 · GTFO never really felt “scary” to me, and just like any other horror game the scariness does fade once you learn the game. The new rundown definitely does retain tense moments of sneaking though. They reuse a lot of assets so if you liked the atmosphere you’ll probably be happy with the current state of the game.

2021年9月13日 · GTFO definitely has survival horror aspects, such as resource management and tense situations. I'd say it's a CO-OP shooter with survival horror mechanics. Sadly me and my friends rarely get together to play because we all work. It's something we're all looking forward to on this year's Christmas Holidays.

However, after your first 20-40 hours of gameplay, GTFO loses its horror aspect and the need to be quiet and stealthy. You will quickly learn the meta, which is kiting and bunny hopping around, killing every enemy with your melee.
