2006年7月4日 · After 4 years of trying, I finally got accepted to show my GTI at the World of Wheels car show back home in Louisiana. Now it's crunch time trying to get the new gauges installed, new cf rear diffuser, and then getting my hood over to paint and body shop to fix the cf hood and sand/re-clear or whatever it needs to make it shiny again.

2025年1月20日 · Mk7 gti, hatch won’t open and camera won’t pop out. I pulled the fuse, it’s fine but when I put it back in it unlocks the hatch then loses power immediately. Haven’t checked wiring yet but wondering if anyone’s had this issue before I dig deep.

2017年7月24日 · H is hella old dude... T/S/F have succeeded it in 2017+. H's are also the most common to blow in NA. 2018 R's have F's based on my research, have no confirmed yet. Also, yes F is a redesigned and stronger IS38. H's blow more because there is more of them out there.

2025年2月11日 · My cousin has a new set of Eibach Pro Kit springs I can get for damn cheap. On paper the 0.2"F 0.6"R drop looks perfect. But the spring rate for the front springs is supposedly lower than stock, rear spring rate seems to be close to stock. According to Eibach their development car was a manual transmission which of course is lighter than the DSG.

2014年7月7日 · I formerly had a Mk6 GTI with APR stage 2, WaveTrac LSD and VW Racing suspension, now a Mk7 GTI (non-PP, currently stock). The Mk6 XDS brake-based LSD did not work that well. On the Mk7 XDS+ works a lot better. You can accelerate quite briskly from a stop in a 90 deg. turn. The XDS+ intervention can be felt but it's not intrusive.
