These diagram C59 coaches were built as part of special new stock for the Cornish Riviera and Torbay Limited Expresses and utilised nearly all of the 9 feet, 5¾ inch width made possible by the old broad gauge lines. Even the chromium plated door handles and grips were recessed to maximise the internal width.

This third volume of official drawings shows a series of drawings covering modern main line coaches of the GWR. By 'modern' the author means that the coaches concerned had high roofs, were built in the 20th Century and lasted into British Railways days.

2025年1月12日 · There’s a body ga for C59 and underframe drawing for E137, E138, C59, D105 & D106. All have 4 trusses. They differ only in the brackets etc for the battery boxes which are different for each diagram.
