2023年10月15日 · Gabi was annyoing af to me when I watech AoT the first time. When I was watching the anime a second time with my wife I realised how she is a 4th wall breaking mirror. She was full down on to Marleys propaganda and how only devils lived on the island yada yada. She even killed one of the most liked characters because she seeked vengeance.

The whole point of AOT was to be able to look at both sides of a conflict and understand the motivations and struggles of both sides. To Gabi, Sasha was an invader in her home that helped kill many of her friends, family, and colleagues. She watched her fellow warrior trainees get smashed by debris and then get trampled to death thanks to Eren.

2021年6月11日 · Considering the emphasis the gabi/reiner dynamic had post time skip it would hit much more imo (they didn't even talk in the last chapter). I guess I'm just a bit salty they basically had almost no interactions in the final chapters since the braun cousins are one of my fav aspects of aot. Gabi has a much more playful relationship with her peers than Eren ever did. Eren was an ass to basically Jean and that's it.

Reiner is the best character this show has to offer, plus Gabbie is also an amazing character who only gets hate for the Sasha murder. If you want a character that epitomizes the brainwashing they put kids through, look no further than Gabbie, and her realization that "there are no devils" near the end is one of the best character moments in ...

2023年10月14日 · He even did a brilliant move by switching perspectives, we saw how the hatred continued through Gabbie and we could honestly continue on and just go back and forth between two sides yet still make sense. And by doing so, we saw how similar they actually were. Gabbie was actually similar to Eren before, etc.

It's a story filled with morally grey characters that you can't just put into neatly defined categories like good or evil, so when there's a character like Gabi, that makes people uncomfortable, because they don't know what category to mentally place her in. Truth is there are no real good guys or bad guys in AoT.

2021年2月11日 · I am someone who never hates any villains. In MHA I don't hate all for one. In AOT season 2&3 I didn't hate the beast Titan. But Gabi makes me sick. This is not for killing Sasha. This is not for hogging time on the anime/manga which could've been used to develop characters like Zeke or Reiner. She's just an outright hypocrite.
