Galbalan (also called Demanicus in early versions) is the main antagonist of Ys: The Oath in Felghana and its non-canon predecessor, Ys III: Wanderers from Ys. He is an ancient demon who terrorized the land of Felghana before being sealed away by the hero Genos.

Galbalan is the main antagonist of Ys III: Wanderers from Ys. He also has more characterization than his canon counterpart. In the PC-Engine intro, he is depicted as a red muscular draconic humanoid demon with a blue gem on his head, three clawed fingers, wings, and spiked shoulders.
