2018年4月24日 · I have a D2 Delta and I agree the screen sucks! I'm 47 and my eyes are not as good as they use to be. I did like the Garmin connect software. It was intuitive and easy to use. The new one posted above looks much better than the D2 Delta.

2017年12月10日 · I have a Garmin D2, fly about 60 hours a year, mostly XC and I think it's basically worthless. I flew 9 hours last week with it and really see no need at all for it. Now, if your a snobbish watch guy, sure, it's a novelty. But otherwise, it's really not worth it. My biggest complaint is how short the battery life is. It has to be charged every day.

Question I have is that I have not been able to figure out how to access the cool HSI function on the watch. Cannot find out how to find this HSI in the online D2 manual.

Just wondering, since I have a 335, which is about the same unit and mine has failed with the same message. It was sent back to Garmin, repaired and reinstalled. 2020年3月24日 · According to our installer, TAS is recorded with the GTP 59 OAT probe installed, but it's only displayed on a D2 watch or in the Garmin Pilot app. It isn't displayed on the GIs. I wouldn't be surprised if it were added later though like with the G5. Adding the OAT sensor also adds the standard rate turn indicator to the GI ADI.

2017年11月13日 · 1. Like all Garmin Aviation GPS products it needs a subscription to keep the database of waypoints or airports updated. This is a huge fail in Garmin’s part. For $900, just toss in the updates. Seriously. It’s not a primary nav tool and isn’t even marketed as one. Paying $75 to update the database is ridiculous.
