2019年8月17日 · My preferred LWS for gas (california tool and welding supply) will cross exchange bottle types and sizes and give you the credit for what they sell the bottle for. C25, argon, tri mix, co2, they just switch the bottle and the math is done on the computer with no drama. there is a small charge if it's out of certification.
What size gas cylinder? - weldingweb.com
2009年1月18日 · The 60s and 80s are roughly the same diameter, so the difference is about 8" in height. I find the 80 is about the limit for what is "easy" to move around, and the 80 is the smallest size that has a screw on safety valve cover (which makes me more comfortable in transit).

Gas cylinder size and how long they last - weldingweb.com
2011年10月1日 · Your best bet would be to look on C/L for a used 80-125cf cylinder & simply exchange it at your LWS. I've picked up clean 80cf bottles for $30 & 125's for $50 & it doesn't matter what gas was in them to the LWS. Even if it is out of date, the fee for a tank re-cert is only $4-$7 & generally they simply exchange bottles.

2010年5月4日 · I just bought a Miller/Hobart AutoArc 130 last night and am looking for a gas cylinder for it. I took a trip over to the local ABCO during lunch and was a little shocked at the price they were asking. The guy quoted me $190 for a filled 40cf tank. A 20cf tank was only about $35 cheaper. The tank was around $140 and the gas was about $50.
How long will C25 cylinders last? - WeldingWeb
2014年5月7日 · It's a cubic feet per hour issue. Shielding gas flow rates are typically metered/measured by cubic feet per hour known as CFH. A very common flow rate for MIG is 20CFH so, your 20cuft cylinder would last 1 hour if welding continuously or a total of 60 minutes of "trigger time" when spotting or stitching. It would last 2 hours at 10CFH and so on.
C25 argon cylinders pros and cons and shelf life question
2010年12月21日 · The green cylinder I attached has a domed bottom, and is not designed to stand on its own. OTOH, there are things wrong with the description of the cylinder you linked to. 1800PSI is a rating I would expect with a CO2 cylinder, and not an inert gas cylinder with a CGA-580 valve. Also, 55CF is a bit odd.

2013年7月22日 · As for sizes. Maryland seems to max at 80CF. Its not a state law, just an agreement between gas distributers. I will say that generally speaking that agreements among vendors - especially on things like price are generally illegal (Federal trade law). Good luck gettings someone to look into it.
