Chainlock, Investments of the Chain Master, Gazer
2022年12月20日 · Chainlock cannot get you a Gazer familiar, by the book. If you get a Gazer, it's an houserule, and the interactions between Gazer and Investment of the Chain Master must be similarly houseruled. Have to note that the Eye Ray does not fit the parameters of the Attack action, as unless I'm mistaken they involve only saving throws and no attack rolls. 2022-12-19,04:29 AM (ISO 8601)

2018年7月29日 · Otherwise, the gazer is little more than a sturdier raven. Weeell... The gazer's eye rays aren't attacks, they are imposed saving throws. And 5e cares about that kind of petty detail. Anyway, yes, if a DM allows a PC to summon a gazer with find familiar, it makes the most sense to restrict it to Pact of the Chain. 2018-07-29,03:24 PM (ISO 8601)

Gazer [3.5 Monster/Beholder Relative]
2019年6月3日 · Re: Gazer [3.5 Monster/Beholder Relative] It is extremely odd that there is that many effects specifically countered by heal. Like why would you not allow people to use cure blindness/deafness on the blindness effect?
