2024年4月6日 · I'm trying to set up a new phone (S7) for my Gear VR. Previous phone (S8) have the screen cracked, but it's currently working with Gear VR due to Developer mode + Allow VR API without OSIG. The problem that I'm facing: When I try to open any game side loaded from GearVR.net using Developer mode, the Gear VR set up wizard screen opens instead.

Interesting they are shutting down Gear VR but not Oculus Go services. I suppose we'll need to wait until March to work out how to setup a Gear VR from "fresh".

You can indeed use SideQuest with Gear VR, but you'll be restricted to apps that are compatible with Oculus Go, and some of those probably wont work either. You need to do two things:
