2016年5月17日 · Hmm I did say that it is more than 1%. It is 1% per drop but each Tumbleweed gives 3 drops. Even if it is extremely rare to get 2 or 3 Gears in a Tumbleweed it still means that the probability to get a Gear per Tumbleweed is 2.9701%. Also the number on the wiki might be slighly off because of the removal of the Firefly.

Make sure you dig up all the graves (preferably as someone with good sanity management, like Woodie). I think there are less gears in DST because of the lack of Teleportato set pieces.

After that, clockworks found on the surface are guaranteed to drop 2 gears each, provided you can find them. You can also get gears somewhat rarely from Tumbleweeds, which I highly suggest because farming Tumbleweeds will net you plenty of other resources while you're getting your gears. 2016年6月19日 · I have though, found a better way (for me at least) to get gears. I was playing in a new world and had a huge desert next to my base. I decided to pick some tumbleweeds and found its pretty easy to get gears from them. Its only a 1% chance I believe, but going 1-2 days in a desert just picking tumbleweeds gave me about 3-4 gears.

2014年7月18日 · You can also find gear from tumbleweeds, the changes of getting them is only 1%, but you'll get 3 from a single tumbleweed. Tumbleweeds are also extremely common, so you'll run in to some gears eventually if you stay at a desert biome for a few nights.

Rooks are the easiest to kill. if your new wear a log suit. 2 autos kite back let him hit rinse and repeat. there is a time where he will reset his autos and u can get 4-5 autos in before he will attack again. the Bishops u just face tank and same with rhinos. i would recommend log suit and a helm of some sort for these 2 mobs.
