2021年5月2日 · I'm p sure it's cannon that the male COG soldiers ate like 10k calorie diets of steroid enhanced rations that were designed to make stronger soldiers, so basically you got rewarded with steroid food for fighting. This is why the stranded are so shrimpy, and in my opinion why the recruits like Ben and other low ranking COG Gears are skinny as well.

2021年3月31日 · No, the COG soldiers are not augmented at all. It’s stated many times in the books, the COG are the only citizens who eat good. The stranded mostly starve or just eat lean animals like cats and dogs, and the citizens of Jacinto are fed, but not like the gears. The humans of sera are just bigger then the humans of earth on average.

2023年10月21日 · Most regular COG soldiers by the events of gears of war 2 seemed to be mostly conscripts and untrained teens and young people so I’d wager that even if the ones that survived wouldn’t be able to hold a candle to the Onyx guard.

2021年2月14日 · Seran humans are a lot more sturdy than in Halo, and I believe there's some evidence in the lore that COG soldiers in particular might have light augmentations to their natural abilities (strength, speed, endurance, etc.).

And hell, if the gears remastered collection is true, I hope they add the cog soldier with the variant 3 helmet, the one like on the ncog in gears of war 4 to remastered gears of war 2 and 3.

2023年12月14日 · Problem being, CoG soldier action figures cost anywhere from $60-$500 from what I've seen. I've only ever found 1 gears 3 CoG trooper at a reasonable price (but my inner super nerd prefers the Gears 1 & 2 troopers, similar Anthony & Ben Carmine).
