Instead Geto opts to insult her by calling her a monkey and beating her to a pulp. He made sure she felt a much pain as possible. Geto deeply hates non-sorcerers, to a degree thats almost sadistic. I think Geto is a fantastically written character, but hes by no means a "good guy".

Gojo is the one who ended up making Geto do this in the story and I think Kenny’s plan was always to try to take Gojos body after the sukuna fight. So him coming back to help his students in this moment is perfect to me.

Focusing on Geto is a luxury that most people don't have when fighting him. Unless Geto is subject to PiS and he's only summoning one curse at a time or something.
