The Greenland Ice Core Chronology 2005, 15–42 ka
2006年12月1日 · A new Greenland Ice Core Chronology (GICC05) based on multi-parameter counting of annual layers has been obtained for the last 42 ka. Here we compare the glacial part of the new time scale, which is based entirely on records from the NorthGRIP ice core, to existing time scales and reference horizons covering the same period.
A 120,000-year long climate record from a NW-Greenland deep …
2021年5月26日 · The GICC05 NEEM depths down to 1335.85 m have been transformed to NGRIP1 depths by linear interpolation between ECM match points and tephra horizons, and from these, GICC05 ages were obtained ...

The Greenland Ice Core Chronology 2005, 15–42 - ScienceDirect
2006年12月1日 · The Greenland Ice Core Chronology 2005, GICC05, is extended back to 42 ka b2k (before 2000 AD), i.e. to the end of Greenland Stadial 11. The chronology is based on independent multi-parameter counting of annual layers using comprehensive high-resolution measurements available from the North Greenland Ice Core Project, NGRIP.

2022年4月11日 · Greenland Ice-Core Chronology 2005 (GICC05) annual layer depths for various Greenland ice cores. This is the high-resolution version (full, annual resolution) data file. Previously, 10- and 20-year resolution data files containing the time scale and resampled d18O data have been released for different time intervals together with the papers ...
The Greenland Ice Core Chronology 2005 (GICC05) - ADS
A new Greenland Ice Core Chronology (GICC05) covering the last 41 kyr has been constructed from annual layer counting of high-resolution records from three Greenland ice cores. At any depth, the dating is based on the ice core with the best available high-resolution data, and the ice cores are tied together using unambiguous reference horizons ...
CP - A 60 000 year Greenland stratigraphic ice core chronology
The Greenland Ice Core Chronology 2005 (GICC05) is a time scale based on annual layer counting of high-resolution records from Greenland ice cores. Whereas the Holocene part of the time scale is based on various records from the DYE-3, the GRIP, and the NorthGRIP ice cores, the glacial part is solely based on NorthGRIP records.
National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI)
The construction of the GICC05 time scale was funded by the Carlsberg Foundation. DESCRIPTION: All dates are given using the b2k notation (years relative to A.D. 2000). The concept of maximum counting error (column no. 4) is introduced in Rasmussen et al. (Journ.
A new Greenland ice core chronology for the last glacial …
2006年3月21日 · Detailed comparison of the GICC05 timescale with the existing NGRIP/GRIP timescales (specified in the caption of Figure 10) and the GISP2 timescale of Meese et al. using the dates of 46 common ECM events in the NGRIP, GRIP, and GISP2 cores (see Figure 10). Positive values indicate that an event is older according to the GICC05 timescale.
