It was only after becoming a Christian that he began to write songs inspired by his new relationship with God and his deep desire to communicate the truth of the gospel with other people.

Glen Podd – Senior Pastor. Tell us about yourself . I was born in 1958 in Basseterre, St Kitts, West Indies, as the youngest of six children. My family moved to England when I was two years old. Having built up a life in the UK I became a committed Christian at the age of 19.

Glen always believed in God but only became a committed Christian in 1977 as a result of his mothers prayers and his sisters persistence. It was at a youth crusade called “The Whole Story” hosted by Rev David Watson in Leeds Town Hall.
