When you buy a C9 over a Glock, or any other handgun, you're deciding that you don't need or can't afford those features. In the end, whichever purchase you make, you're going to get a nice, reliable bullet thrower, just different capabilities and features.

In reality many of the Glock "firsts" were based on other earlier models by other companies. The Remington Nylon 66 was the first polymer firearm, long before Glocks were introduced.

2016年6月6日 · The spring on the left is the OEM spring that has been "tweaked" per J Daltons instruction video and the spring on the right is the Glock 43 +15 spring. The Glock spring is longer and made of thicker wire metal (or at least it seems to me). Next pic is the Glock 43 spring installed and with eight rounds loaded in my #3 magazine.

2011年8月14日 · Prior to the Glock which was introduced in the 1980s, there were many "pocket pistols" around that were striker fired similar to the C9 mechanism. All share the same danger, wear or breakage or other failure of the striker/sear interface results in a bang.

2009年10月8日 · Just for the record..I bought a brand new XDm 9mm..My C9 shot as well as it did. (I just got..and shot at the range..an older HP 9mm, fixed sights..shoots as good as either of the above mentioned) I paid $588 for the XDm and $80 each for the HP's..I love both but I can see where "some" people hate a Hi-Point..spending all that money for a shooter and an ole HP does the same thing.
