2024年12月12日 · The one benefit to an FCU is that it allows the owner to use third party grip modules. I saw a guy at my local range with a Sig P365 with a metal grip module. It felt much better than the stock polymer one. The Glock 45 world be obsolete if Glock had FCUs because you could buy a 19 with a 45 grip module.

There are a few Glock homers that will only buy Glock, but they will probably be in the minority. I'm all for it as the FCU frames can be converted to a working firearm without buying the whole gun.

Maybe they'll get an FS and SC design together. I don't care about the no serial number thing, I just like cool stuff to build and shoot. It's a different design than Zev's OZ9 and LFA's AMP.

Sig Sauer made the idea of a modular pistol fire control group mainstream with the fire control units of the P320 and P365. Even if most owners never remove their FCU, the concept works. You don’t even need tools because the takedown lever holds the FCU in place and you can remove that with your hands.
